The practice area debt restructuring begins from a long-term activity of management of insolvency procedures, initially before the Court of Milan and after before judicial offices in other Italian cities. Such experience has enabled the team to address the issues concerning corporate crisis and debt restructuring by applying the required technical and legal expertise.

Over the last decade and also following the various legislative changes, the practice has developed in favour of enterprises, especially with regard to prevention issues and the use of the various insolvency measures for the restructuring of financial indebtedness and best practices for turning around distressed companies.

Today, due to the continuous development of corporate and insolvency legislation, it is necessary to address the companies’ internal control systems designed for corporate crisis’ prevention and anticipation, in order to safeguard wealth and preserve corporate value.

The long-standing experience in judicial matters has allowed the team to hold offices in the administration and management of assets placed under judicial protection, with the purpose of guaranteeing the continuity of business activity even in the most sensitive stages.

The team comprises of about 20 chartered accountants and lawyers permanently committed to the activities of debt restructuring.
